Coming up next... Big Story Small 2012!
Performing at Theatre Off Jackson May 10, 11, & 12.
Pony World Theatre is bringing back our 2010 creation, Big Story Small, with an all new collection of theatre classics distilled into potent little packages.
And PWT is currently soliciting scripts and seeking directors and designers for Big Story Small!
ANNOUNCEMENT Pony World is seeking script submissions for our May 2012 production of Big Story Small,
an evening of short plays in which great works from the theatrical
canon are distilled into potent little packages. This critically-praised
event was previously produced in June 2010, and will be remounted with a
new batch of scripts at Theatre Off Jackson in May. Directors and designers may partner with a writer to develop a script, or lead a generative process to create the piece. Directors or designers who would like to be considered for work on a submitted script, please send a brief letter of interest and resume. For directors and designers who would like to propose a play concept, please also include your proposal. Please submit scripts (or letters, resumes, and/or proposals in the case of directors and designers) in PDF format to Pamala Mijatov pamalam@ponyworld.org by February 6, 2012. Writers: if unable to provide a completed script by the deadline, please submit a proposal with a 2-3 page script sample. Any questions about structure, format, production details, etc. can also be addressed to Pamala Mijatovpamalam@ponyworld.org.
